1. Analyse the daily operation
We reviewed how members, memberships, activity, sales and entry were managed to understand what information each part of the system needed to share.
Case study
Abel's Team needed to bring the day-to-day management of the gym and the physical access system into the same platform. A custom CRM was developed for members, memberships, sales, activity and the client area, with the membership status connected to the entrance turnstile.
The project was not just about storing member profiles. Memberships, activity, sales and access needed to follow the same operating logic. The key requirement was for the management system to know whether a membership was active and use that information when deciding whether to authorise entry through the turnstile.
A system was developed around Abel's Team's actual operation. The CRM centralises members and memberships, records activity and access, includes store management and provides a private member area. The turnstile integration checks membership status before authorising entry, connecting a software decision with a physical device at the gym.
We reviewed how members, memberships, activity, sales and entry were managed to understand what information each part of the system needed to share.
The CRM was structured around each member, their membership and the status needed to allow or reject specific actions.
A private environment was created for members, memberships, store activity and the information needed for daily management.
The access-control device was connected to the CRM so the system can check membership status before allowing entry.
Each client has a personal area where the information made available through the system can be reviewed.
Access and activity generate information that can be reviewed from the dashboard for a clearer view of gym operation.
Members, memberships, activity and other management tasks can be reviewed from the same system.
The turnstile can use CRM membership data before authorising entry.
Access and attendance are recorded so each member's activity can be reviewed in the system.
The dashboard brings together gym activity indicators instead of relying on separate records for each part of the operation.
